Summary:

Debate betwwen Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel (Mishnah end of Tractate Niddah) if a woman observed a discharge on the eleventh day must Biblically wait a day.

 
And the debate between R' Yehoshua and Reish Lakish ( according to the view of Beit Hillel) if a woman observed a discharge on the tenth day must wait a day.  (ibid. 72b). 

The debate between R' Yehoshua and Reish Lakish follows their opinions regarding whether a half-amount (Chatzi shiur) is Biblically prohibited. 

And the debate between Beit Shammai and Beit Hillel  follows their opinions whether we follow "potential" or "actual"
