Summary:

(5742) The offering of the korban of prince of Ephraim on Shabbat -- "not proper" or "I told Moshe to do so" ("Shani amarti”)

Like a personal korban or like a communal korban.

And the explanation of the different versions of this in the four places in the Midrash ( Bamidbar Rab 13:2, 13:13, 14:1, 14:2).

The reason that this is the reward of Joseph (Bamidbar Rab. Chap 14 ibid)
